ABOUT

“Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.”
- C. S. Lewis

I'm originally from Brazil—a city called Recife. I've been living in England since 2012 when I came to work as a full-time missionary for the Pais Movement. In 2013, I met Paul, the person who would become my husband. We've been married since 2015, and we live in the north of England with our wonderful daughter and our little energetic dog, Boris.

A few years ago, God started a new journey in my life, and since then, I have been working as a full-time wedding photographer. I'm still serving God through other ways, and I am part of an incredible church community in Liverpool.

Sharing about what I believe was part of my life as a missionary, once that season was over, I felt like a part of me was missing. Writing and sharing things that are in my heart are two of my passions. And that's what this blog is all about: my journey with God and life.

The title of the blog came from the song "No one ever cared for me like Jesus" by Steffany Gretzinger. The whole song is how I hope my offspring will describe my life. I hope one day when I am old and grey, I will be able to look into the things I wrote throughout my life and know that my heart was always connected to God's heart and every word came from a heart that was telling stories from a life that was lived in obedience to His will.

One of the reasons I write is so that in the years to come, I can remember the seasons God took me through—all the lessons and the treasures He's spoken to me. I hope they can encourage, challenge, and speak to people who will come across those texts. I hope they will move people's hearts close to their Creator, and they will see that their lives are also telling stories that reflect miracles which the world desperately needs to see.
